Migration of an Image, 2008 – 2015
c-print, edition of 5 + 2 A.P. work in progress
Migration of an image is a work-in-progress, an expanding work, which I complete constantly since 2008 until present. The integration of time and place involves the urban space and transforms it into a playground. It is about pictures and drawings, which I leave in different cities and public places and the aim is to involve the passerby in my work, whose reaction has an essential role. Each of these works is marked with the words
If you want me, you can take me.
A documentation of the place before and after through photographs retains the happening in which the works disappear, end up next to the trash or just wander from one place to another.
This project conceived in 2008 from Vienna and continued from there to other cities.
